Fantastic opportunity to join this growing organisation within the Steel and Stainless Steel market, option to be home based visiting the office in the Midlands once or twice per month, if you have experience within Glass, Aluminium or Steel on a technical level and you will be comfortable holding training sessions then this could be the role for you.
The Role:
- Our client is a leading manufacturer of Steel and Stainless Steel for Windows, Doors and Curtain Walling Solutions
- As the Technical Manager you role will be split between a mix of training (25%) and dealing with technical questions (75%) from either customers or the sales team.
- You can either be based from their Midlands office or be home based fully visiting the office once or twice per month to hold training sessions.
- You will be fielding questions from a mix of Architects, Specifiers, Main Contractors and Fabricators with the main focus being with Fabricators
- Brand new showroom and training centre for you to use
- Very much about making sure all of the moving parts of the sales process stay together
- Assisting clients and staff with any questions and making sure everyone is happy, explaining on a technical level
- Option to be fully remote with site visits to head office as and when required (likely twice per month)

The Person:
- Experience in Steel/Stainless Steel or something technical, facades or building envelope solutions
- Must have experience already of being a Technical Manager
- Happy being being either Midlands office based or happy going to the office around twice a month
- Has a technical background and can have technical conversations
- Dealt with fabricators at a technical level

- Basic salary of between £40-£50k (depending on experience)
