  • This is an exciting & challenging career opportunity, where your mission is to help our client grow into one of the most recognised brands in the roofing industry. As Internal sales executive, you will support the field sales team in developing relationships and growing new business opportunities with a broad range of customers across the construction industry. 
  • 50% will be account management, 50% new business, supporting the team with selling their industry leading range of roof windows, rooflights, skylights, blinds, roller shutters, tile and slate flashing etc. 
  • As Internal sales executive, you will be liaising with national and independent builders merchants, roofing merchants, distributors, retailers, roofing installers, house builders, jobber builders, driving product awareness, delivering promotional activities, identifying key decision makers and growing the number of customers, in-line with company targets and strategies. 
  • You'll support your field sales colleagues in putting through orders, checking stock availability, doing quotations and looking for cross selling and upselling opportunities. As you are buddying up, you will ensure that projects are followed up by the field sales team.
  • As Internal sales executive, you'll continually be looking at new opportunities, building ever strengthening relationships with your customers, checking competitor activity, looking at planning activity through Barbour Abi, glenigans etc.  
  • You will actively and constantly work with CRM software to ensure follow up and best in class customer support.
  • As well as the field sales team, you'll work closely with your marketing colleague. This is a busy, all encompassing internal sales and support led role, so being organised and having the ability to multi-task is important.


  • As the Internal sales executive will be home based, you must have B2B experience in remote sales, have account management and new business as well as customer support experience, preferably in the building industry.
  • You will have strong experience in ERP and CRM systems & strong user level of MS Office, especially Excel & Powerpoint.
  • You will possess an enthusiastic "do it now" attitude towards work and be aspiring, target driven and self motivated. 
  • You'll have a technical mindset and be able to communicate professionally across multiple levels of the business.
  • You'll be able to maintain professional knowledge by reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and attending industry related events, currently virtually, but post covid, in person.
  • You will have the ability to resolve customer queries by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports and making recommendations to your colleagues.

  • £26,000- £30,000 Basic salary, dependent on experience. 
  • Up to 35% total bonus potential (Team bonus split- 19% measured and paid monthly- 6% yearly, plus 10% personal KPI annual bonus)
  • Pension and Heath scheme (contribution; 5%-7% employee contribution 10%-12% from employer)
  • AXA PPP after 3 months service.
  • Mobile phone, laptop and all other tools required to fulfil the requirements of the position.
