- THE ROLE;
- As Inside Sales Executive, Internal Sales, you'll support the sales department in identifying new business opportunities and help secure new accounts for the business.
- You will learn regulations applicable to Packaging Waste, Extended Producer Responsibility, Regulations waste, electrical and electronic regulations, Plastic Package Tax and UK Waste batteries regulations.
- As Internal Sales Executive, you'll undertake market research and initiate outgoing sales calls, being both cold calls and warm leads.
- You'll work closely with the sales manager to create sales campaigns.
- You'll be advising on the legal obligations of any companies that typically turnover at least £2million and handle more than 50 tonnes of packaging per year, so that your client avoids non compliance when it comes to recycling regulations and worst still, prosecution.
- You and the team will assist your clients in preparing for waste audits, required by Regulatory agencies.
- You'll help your clients get the data ready and the business does run workshops for their members.
- In essence as Inside Sales Executive, you'll guide your members through the complexities of the regulations, making compliance easier.
- You'll be introducing yourself to SME's, who may not be aware of their waste compliance obligations, in effect you're selling the services of an environmental consultancy, where you're marketing specialist services to businesses needing advice and support with Producer responsibility and packaging related compliance.
- Clients cover all sectors, from manufacturing, to retail, supermarkets, cosmetics, any business that uses packaging.
- THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE;
- The successful candidate will be a consultative, intelligent, engaging individual, confident on the phone, able to build rapport and sell in the need for these compliance services.
- You'll be IT literate, with a driving licence, as you will occasionally meet clients face to face.
- You'll need to be a good presenter as a lot of time you'll be meeting clients on Teams, understanding their current packaging usage and then selling the benefits.
- If you've sold a service or worked for a subscription based business, then that would be particularly relevant.
- You'll be a coachable individual, keen to learn.
- Based from their office Monday to Friday 9.00am- 5pm. Free parking on site.

- The business positions itself as a compliance scheme and advisory partner, helping organisations understand their obligations, manage submissions and stay compliant with evolving UK legislation.
- THE REMUNERATION;
- Up to £35,000 basic salary
- Xmas bonus, profit related pay and monthly commission, giving an OTE of £45K.
