- THE ROLE;
- As Head of Manufacturing, you'll be responsible for the manufacturing P&L and the performance of 100+ employees, supported by 3 Management colleagues who report directly into you.
- Overseeing several production lines and a multi-site operation, located within a few miles of each other, you will lead and manage all manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency, quality and safety standards are met.
- As Head of Manufacturing, you'll be the conduit between high level business strategy and on the ground execution, aiming to increase efficiency and reduce waste using LEAN principles.
- You will lead, mentor and develop manufacturing teams, standardise production processes, align KPI's and drive continued improvement across all locations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- You will prioritise health, safety and environmental compliance whilst maintaining high quality production standards.
- As Head of Engineering, you'll work with the Head of Engineering to identify and implement automation and technology enhancements.
- Your KPI's will include Production efficiency, OTIF, compliance to plan, labour/factory recovery, quality performance, cost control, safety compliance, employee engagement, productivity tracking for continuous improvement and waste reduction.
- THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE;
- You'll be a strong, inspiring Business leader, able to demonstrate that you've made tough leadership decisions and are Data and KPI driven.
- You'll be a key member of the Leadership team, with previous Head of Manufacturing experience, ideally with a range of different products/lines, across a multisite operation and be from construction, engineering, or industrial type manufacturing.
- An Engineering or Manufacturing Degree or related discipline would be beneficial and able to demonstrate LEAN methodologies and continuous improvement/ productivity tracking.
- Data and KPI driven, as well as a leader who wins hearts and minds.
- You'll be a strategic thinker and problem solver, results driven, with a focus on operational excellence.
- You'll set the vision and drive innovation, define clear objective and explain the "why" and be a skilled influencer.

- THE REMUNERATION;
- £80,000- £85,000 basic salary dependent on experience.
- Executive level company car, or £550 per month allowance.
- Annual bonus paid in March of up to £5,000
