The Role:
- An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Mechanical Engineer to work as a Field Service Engineer for our client who manufacture specialist materials handling equipment
- This is a field based/on site based position covering the East Midlands with strong access to Nottingham desirable.
- Working on new to 5 year old vehicles/equipment.
- Your role is truly varied but includes, Preventative Maintenance, Breakdowns/Repairs, Diagnostics/Fault finding, Reporting and Parts Ordering.
- This is a long term career move and progression is certainly available.
- You will have daily contact with clients so it is essential that you are enthusiastic and a real people person.
- Based on different sites weekly or even daily, no two days are the same.
The Person:
- A qualified Mechanical Engineer with at least a few years experience
- Forklift truck experience a strong ideal but motor trade or plant also considered. Additionally any Hydraulic or Electrical experience considered.
- Ideally worked on some kind of capital equipment
- A people person as client contact is daily
- IT literate
- A proven track record
- Will go the extra mile.
