-THE ROLE;
- As Internal estimator, you'll join an established team of 8 colleagues in this fast paced tendering team.
- As Internal estimator, you'll be responsible for managing inbound enquiries and understanding customer enquiries, for their range of commercial, industrial and residential specialist products.
- These include cold water booster sets designed to increase the pressure in buildings, fire sprinkling systems, specialist pump solutions, such as drainage and rainwater pumps and pressurisation units.
- Working closely with construction and building services clients, suppliers and your internal teams, you'll prepare accurate and commercially competitive quotations, whilst helping to identify opportunities and grow the business.
- You'll handle inbound customer enquiries via email and phone.
- You'll analyse building schematics and specifications to understand application requirements.
- You'll prepare accurate quotations and supporting documents, often by looking at drawing, counting up how many sinks, taps, toilets, showers, washing machine points etc (anything plumbing related) that are on the building plans and then putting together a quotation .
- You'll work on a variety of projects such as school and college new builds and refurbishments, leisure centres, hotels, care homes, food production and manufacturing plants, residential developments, leisure parks etc.
-THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE;
- The successful candidate will have worked in internal estimating, quotations or have customer service experience in an office environment and a keenness to learn.
- Ideally you'll have some experience with customers purchasing technical products or equipment.
- You'll preferably have an interest or background in engineering or building service type products/or general construction, drainage, water treatment, plumbing, electrics, building services and be able to work in a fast paced environment.
- You'll be self motivated, positive, with a can do attitude.
- The ability to read schematic drawings is beneficial although full ongoing training and support is provided.
- Happy to work with colleagues in an office. 7am- 4.30pm or 8.00am-5.30pm Monday- Friday. Fun environment with breakout areas, table tennis, cooking facilities, access to local food outlets.
- Whilst not written contractually, the company have a policy of buying their staff sandwiches every Thursday. After successful probation, there is the opportunity to work from home 1 day per week.

- £30,000- £33,000 Basic salary, dependent on experience
