-THE ROLE;
- Due to growth, our client is looking for a Business Development Manager to sell our clients high quality, low maintenance, log buildings, luxury holiday cottages, cabins, commercial buildings and glamping pods made from sustainable sourced timber.
- As Business Development Manager, you'll be looking at rural diversification opportunities, for landowners, holiday park owners, farmers etc.
- As BDM you'll discuss what is possible for the land that they're looking to change use on, explaining the commercial benefits, increasing the sites profitability.
- This is a National role with the successful candidate being based within a couple of hours commute of Middlesex, as this will be a hybrid role and client facing field sales as well as at their showroom.
- You will offer a turnkey solution, from initial enquiry, fact find, site planning and design, through to civils works, build, fit out and ongoing operational support.
- This role is supported by an excellent marketing department, membership of key farmer, landowner and holiday park associations, access to planning databases and networking events.
- Orders could range from a few glamping pods, lodges, cabins at £500k+ through to multi unit seven figure projects.
- THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE;
- The successful Business Development Manager would ideally have sold a turnkey construction solution into the holiday park market, or glamping, a solution into farmers or landowners, who understands the local authority planning arena as well as 1st and 2nd fix construction, fit out, groundworks and how a build project comes together.
- You'll ideally be located South of Birmingham, in South or South East England with access to the M25, M4, M3 and M40.
- You'll have great attention to detail, be consultative, commercially astute and happy on site, visualising what is possible with their accommodation solutions.
- Specification sales experience, where you can bring plans to life and sell the vision of how a change of land use can benefit the landowner is key.

- Our client is a well established, highly regarded manufacturer and installer of sustainably sourced log cabins, used in both residential and B2B markets.
- They have exciting growth plans so this role could progress to a Senior leadership position in time.
-THE REMUNERATION;
- £45,000- £50,000 Basic salary depending on experience.
- Quarterly bonus opportunity giving a Year 1 OTE of £70,000.
- Company car such as Hybrid VW Tiguan.
- 25 days holiday, plus Bank holidays.
- Mix of field sales and home/office based, where you'll be in their southern home counties showroom typically twice per week.
