Our client is one of the worlds leading manufacturers of specialist Material Handling Equipment, if you are a new business focused Business Development Manager looking for a new challenge with a genuine career changing employer then this could be the role for you! Field/home based covering the Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Yorkshire region.
The Role:
- Your role is to sell the company's manufactured range of Material Handling Equipment, the product range is extensive but includes Fork Lift Trucks, Pallet Stackers, Order Pickers, Specialist Narrow Aisle Trucks and Pallet Trucks.
- Field/Home based covering the Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Yorkshire region.
- 100% New Business focussed.
- Selling into a mixed market, this team works with customers who have up to 30 trucks, the market is huge and could include Builders Merchants, Industrial Estates and Warehouses.
- Most clients will be purchasing this equipment on a long term hire basis of around 3-5 years and you will be selling brand new products.
- Very realistic year 1 targets, you will be expected to attend around 10-15 face to face/possibly virtual meetings a week with around 40+ prospect calls a week.
- Excellent leads provided but you are expected to show some real new business initiative also.

The Person:
- Must have field sales experience.
- Essential that you have sold some kind of materials handling products or capital equipment.
- Must be happy being new business focused.
- A proven track record of sales success.
- Will go the extra mile.
