- THE ROLE;

  • As Business Development Manager, you'll be joining the Sales Director in driving the growth of this ambitious Commercial and Industrial Air Handling Units manufacturer.
  • You will be selling your often bespoke Commercial and Industrial Air Handling units that could be used on hospital, school, commercial offices, pharmaceutical, Food processing and leisure centre type projects, such as swimming pool environments. 
  • As Business Development Manager you will be selling into M&E consultants, M&E contractors and End users, with initially lots of smallish projects ranging typically from £20k- £50k. 
  • This is a regional role, with the ideal candidate being located near major road and rail networks. You'll be based in England and your region will be influenced by where you live.
  • The core business is selling bespoke, tailor made, energy efficient Air handling unit solutions and associated products, that can be manufactured in units of any shape or size.
  • As BDM/Specification sales, you'll deliver CPD seminars and training sessions into M&E consultants.
  • Building a customer database and a pipeline will be essential to this role using in house CRM system.   

-THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE; 

  • The successful BDM/ Regional Sales Manager will be currently working in the commercial or industrial AHU/ ventilation market. Ideally this will be in the bespoke AHU sector.
  • You will have a strong technical background in the AHU/ventilation sector with experience in negotiating and securing technical solutions based contracts.
  • You will have a strong understanding of current and future legislation/market drivers from a technical, as well as commercial point of view.
  • As Regional Sales Manager/ BDM you will have excellent M&E consultant and M&E contractor contacts and a ptr of project sales success in the HVAC industry.
  • You will be excited to join a division of a well established business, but at the beginning of their Commercial & Industrial HVAC journey.

-THE REMUNERATION;

  • £50,000- Circa £55,000 Basic salary dependent on experience.
  • Commission paid on a quarterly basis, giving Yr 1 ote of £66k but uncapped. 
  • £6,500 annual car allowance.
  • 28 days holidays, plus 8 Bank holidays and your Birthday off. (37 days hols in total)
