Covering Sheffield up to the Scottish borders and all of the North East of England, selling to both national and independent specialist plumbers merchants and distributors, as well as M&E contractors, Plumbers, installers and Building Services contractors. -THE ROLE;
- Your role as Area Sales Manager, is to sell the company's manufactured range of commercial wastewater and stormwater related products, cold water booster sets, integrated pumps and tank systems, Cat 5 booster sets, plant rooms and wastewater pumping products.
- Projects would be a mix of new build and refurbishment on commercial buildings, such as schools, prisons, hospitals, big office blocks, high-rise buildings, leisure centres etc.
- As Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager, you will be account managing and developing a portfolio of established accounts, being national and independent builders merchants. plumbers merchants, buying groups and distributors, driving the demand by targeting the M&E contractors, Building services contractors, commercial plumbers and installers and back-selling.
- Covering from Sheffield to the Scottish borders, including the Peak district, Pennines and the North East of England, East Yorkshire, Humberside, Tyne and Wear, Northumberland.
- The Business Development Manager/ Area Sales Manager will be dealing with a multi-million pounds ledger.
- This is likely to be 70% account management and 30% new business.
- THE COMPANY;
- Our client is a well established, highly regarded manufacturer of commercial pumps, booster sets, wastewater and stormwater related products.
- THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE;
- The successful candidate will ideally have sold for a Plumbers merchant/Builders Merchant or Distributor on commercial projects and be looking to progress their career with a manufacturer, or already be working for a manufacturer, with strong merchant and distributor route to market contacts and successes, as well as a strong track record of creating the demand with the M&E contractor/installer and then backselling..
- Ideally the Area Sales Manager/BDM will have experience in the plumbing sector/water industry, although excellent training is offered.
- You will be a strong relationship builder, with a demonstrable track record of sales success and networking with businesses and understanding their commercial aims.
- You will be energetic, enthusiastic, ambitious, with a positive outlook.
- THE REMUNERATION;
- Offering £50k-£55k basic salary, dependent on experience.
- Bonus and commission giving an ote of £60k-£65k.
