-Do you have experience of selling a technical construction product on sites, into Main and sub contractors, House builders, civil engineers, groundworkers, concrete framers and the water industry? If so, this leading supplier of groundwork solutions could be for YOU! This is a field/home based sales role covering Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Wiltshire, Dorset and Hampshire. The product range is vast and includes Props and Struts, Trench Sheets, Manhole covers, Shoring and Excavation Safety.
-THE ROLE:
- As Business Development Manager, your role is to sell and hire the company's range of specialist ground working equipment, that includes such products as Props & Struts, Trench Sheets, Manhole Braces and Excavation Safety Equipment to name but a few.
- You'll be selling and hiring to Ground Workers, House Builders, Sub Contractors, Main contractors, civil engineers, concrete framers and the water industry, working on a mix of projects, some can be major construction projects such as District Heating, Basement works, Cross Rail and Forecourt projects etc.
- As Business Development Manager you'll spend 4 days out in the field and 1 day in the branch (based in Berkshire) on admin duties and booking appointments.
- This is a field/home based role covering Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Wiltshire, Dorset and Hampshire.
- You'll have some key accounts, where you'll network with the Plant Managers, Contract Managers, Directors, Site Foreman and pick up great information on site and have another strong 20+ accounts across your territory.
- You'll be supported by a very experienced Sales Manager and receive excellent technical support, product training and coaching, to help you maximise your territory's potential.

-THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE;
- Our client is looking for someone from the Groundworks industry with previous experience hiring out and selling specialist Groundworks equipment.
- You must have a proven track record of field sales success with strong site experience.
- A technical/engineering bias, ideally with groundworks, civils, structural engineering etc.
- A strong relationship builder/networker, commercially astute, will ask for the order.
- A Qualification in Civil engineering, construction management, mechanical engineering, structural engineering or equivalent would be advantageous.

-THE REMUNERATION:
- £45,000- £55,000 Basic salary (dependent on experience).
