- THE ROLE;
- As Warehouse Manager, you will manage, motivate, coach and develop a well established team of 11 individuals, being a mix of drivers and warehouse staff
- Running a busy warehouse that stocks thousands of products that service the construction industry, the retail and commercial interiors market, vehicle wrapping, signs, displays and graphics, along with industrial and engineering.
- Products include tapes, packaging, high pressure laminate, plastic sheeting, display boards, acrylic and many can be shaped and fabricated, which is an additional value add service to your customers.
-As Warehouse Manager, you will set out efficient systems across transport, logistics, the CRM, Health and Safety, goods in and out etc.
- You will assist the Inventory Controller in maintaining adequate stock levels and keep accurate stock records.
- You will control the selection and preparation of stock for orders and plan and monitor the dispatch of customer orders.
- You will identify operational issues and opportunities for improvement and operate within COSHH guidelines.
- As Warehouse Manager, you'll liaise with the Sales office Manager to improve customer service levels and liaise with the sales rep and administrator at times to ensure all documentation is completed accurately and kept up to date.
- You will ensure company compliance of all transport policies, legislation and procedures including Tachographs and Drivers hours.
- THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE;
- The successful Warehouse Manager will have a track record of success in coaching, mentoring and developing their staff.
- Experience working for a distributor/converter/fabricator in the construction, fit out, display or graphics sector would be advantageous, although other backgrounds will also be considered.
- You will be process driven, able to manage staff productivity and performance.
- You will have experience in the recruiting, induction and appraising of warehouse staff and drivers.
- You will be IT literate, have a good grasp of CRM and be a confident, positive, engaging character, able to get the very best from your team.
- THE REMUNERATION;
- Basic salary of £34,000- £38,000 dependent on experience.
- Annual small bonus potential based on performance and profitability of the Branch.
- Mobile phone, 22 days holiday, plus Bank holidays. Monday to Friday 8.00am- 5.30pm.
