  • As the Sales Office Manager you will be responsible for a team of 3 internal Sales Administrators, plus an internal sales person and marketing person.
  • Your key areas of responsibility will be CRM management, connecting the internal and external teams, customer follow up and quote management, effectively driving the team to increase their conversions.
  • Your team will be hiring to Event companies, M&E contractors, Local Authorities, Schools, manufacturing plants, Facilities Management companies, Food produce companies- any business with a cooling or heating need. 
  • This is a very hands on role where you will lead by example, coach and develop your team on the job.
  • As Sales office manager, you will be involved in recruitment of staff, training, appraisals and essentially making sure the sales office runs smoothly.
  • You'll put together marketing and email campaigns, oversee the enquiries, to quotations to orders process and implement strong commercial processes. 
  • As a business our client hires out specialist mobile boilers and chillers to a range of sectors including Construction, Facilities Management, Local Authorities, Education, Healthcare, Food Produce and Manufacturing to name but a few.
  • You will be the sales lead in the office, ensuring quotes are processed swiftly, leads are followed up and generally improving the conversion rate.
  • Responsible for implementing process and maximising potential, dealing with any issues swiftly and promptly.
  • Taking it upon yourself to ensure your customers are left happy and satisfied when dealing with you and your team.
  • Office based in mid Hampshire - Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm with 1 hour for lunch


  • The Sales Office Manager will ideally have experience of putting in place effective systems that help the team be more effective. Sales experience, where you'll show your team how to quote, how to approach new customers, how to chase existing business and support the team around them.
  • As the teams skillsets improve, you'll get more involved in coaching and developing your teams talents, but this is a doer, lead from the front office manager role. A player manager type.
  • As our client hires out mobile chillers and boilers, hire experience within the HVAC, Building services or Mechanical Engineering sector is advantageous. 
  • You will have structure and be process driven and able to implement effective pipeline tracking systems.
  • Our client will consider a proven internal sales person who is ready to take the next step into a coaching, team leader/manager type position.
  • Must have a proven track record of sales achievement and implementing process.
  • Access to the office in mid Hampshire
  • Must have business to business sales experience
  • You must have a strategic approach
  • A real people person capable of sales/people development and coaching in time.
