PV Sales Manager

Our client is expanding their PV sales team and seeking an experienced, highly motivated individual with the ability to develop the PV market whilst working as an integral part of the Southern Divisional Sales Team.

Under the management of the PV Product Manager, you will provide PV support and expertise to the Regional Sales team whilst taking responsibility for the development of PV market sales, ensuring that all PV installations are delivered to the highest standard in accordance with the company's specification and recommendations.

The Role:

Working with the PV Product Manager and the Regional Team the PV Sales Manager will help to develop and implement the Company’s solar PV sales strategy and promote the PV offer across the Company and to external stakeholders in order to increase sales and market share.

Key responsibilities:

  • Strong organisational abilities in relation to project tracking, project monitoring through key stages to fruition.

  • Providing strong PV technical support and guidance to clients and Area Technical Managers (regional sales team).

  • To support the Southern Divisional Sales team regarding the design, costing, specification and installation of PV projects.

  • To help drive the increase revenue in PV Sales within the Southern Division.

  • To ensure that the Divisional Contractors are familiar with company methods and requirements in the

    installation of the PV systems.

  • Act as first point of contact for customer concerns and/or complaints. Involving the review of site photos, undertaking a preliminary visit and provide an initial response. (Liaise with the PV Product Manager over more complex and serious issues.)

  • To be the initial point of contact for clients requesting information in relation to PV Sales within the Region

  • Open and develop new PV clients and markets.

  • To carry out roof inspection surveys communicating findings within subsequent inspection report

The Person:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience within a PV sales role with a proven track record of sales success

  • Technically astute
