Our client is a fabricator of products used in the rainscreen facade and cladding market & they want a confident internal sales executive to grow with the team. - THE ROLE;

- As Internal Sales executive, you will be working in a small, close knit team, developing relationships with your customers and suppliers. 

- Looking after and developing relationships with approximately 30 accounts, forming relationships and offering technical expertise, as well as looking at bill of quantities and putting together accurate quotations. 

- Typically the Inside Sales person will be speaking with Main contractors and discussing what building envelope projects are coming up and then follow up with the specialist sub contractor, following it through to the tender winner and then closing for the business. 

- As internal sales person, you will be selling their cutting, shaping, CNC and drilling service to the cladding and roofing contractor. 

- You will also be building relationships with your cladding board and rainscreen suppliers and knowing what building projects they have been specified on. 

- You will take responsibility for pricing and quotations given to customers/projects. 

- You will identify market opportunities through investigation and discussion with customers and suppliers and in conjunction with line management develop a business plan to maximise these opportunities.

- The inside sales person will liaise with the production management and teams to ensure project delivery to time and standard for the customers.

- THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE; 

- You will be a confident and engaging communicator, both verbal and written, with good attention to detail. 

- You will understand that as a fabricator there is a production cost, so you'll have a commercial outlook and good attention to detail. 

- You will be a good team player as you'll work closely with your 4 or 5 internal sales colleagues, as well as the Field sales representative.

- You must be competent with Excel, Outlook and IT systems.

- You will have good knowledge of the construction industry and its associated supply and production chains.

- THE COMPANY;

- THE REMUNERATION; 

- Basic salary of £24K- £27K (dependent on experience)

- Profit related bonus scheme of anything from 5%- 40% of salary, based on merit, (25% typical in a good year) so real achievers can do very well. 

- Pension scheme where the employer pays 4% and the employee pays 4%.

- 22 days holiday, rising to 24 days after 2 years. All out of pocket expenses.
