-Are you a confident, ambitious individual, looking for a career with a rapidly growing Modern methods of construction company? Are you in Internal sales or telesales, prepared to hit the phones, network and relationship build with architects, main Tier 1 contractors and end user clients? Do you have daily access to their office near Reading, Berkshire? If so read on! Offering £40k-£50k basic, 15%-20% bonus potential uncapped, leading to a 6 figure opportunity for an star player in time. For the 1st 6 months it'll be office based, becoming a Hybrid role, with mix of internal sales and face to face, with at that point, 1 day per week at their office and 1 day per week in London in-front of your clients. 

-THE ROLE;

  • As Internal Sales, Telesales, Inside sales executive, you will be networking with major House Builders, property developers, Main contractors and Architects and specifiers that work on residential new build high rise projects. 
  • You'll be educating those decision makers and promoting the huge benefits of our clients off site, preassembled MMC solution. 
  • You'll be discussing projects that your clients have at pre planning and just after planning stage, promoting a modern method of construction solution that will reduce the time and cost of installation, as the client minimises site work by maximising offsite production. 
  • In essence you're selling just in time, lean processes that offer less coordination of trades on site, quality assured assembly and speedier installation.
  • Typically 4 days per week will be making calls, intelligent messaging, networking, which includes the occasional face to face meetings with the developer. For the 1st 6 months you'll be working in their phenomenal modern offices and after that time, you'll spend 1 day per week with your colleagues at their office to go through your pipeline, 3 days at home, one in London in front of clients.
  • You'll be dealing with structural engineers, cost consultants, architects, main contractors and house builders. You will regularly follow up with your clients project team so that when the project is ready to be handed over to your field sales team at tender stage, lots of value has been built for them to leverage to close the sale. 
  • You will be working with a huge database of contacts across the high rise residential arena, with the vast majority of projects being in London and Dublin. 
  • You'll be making 150+ telephone calls per week (just 30 calls per day) aiming at having 50 quality conversations/or coming off the phone with valuable information.

-THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE;

  • The successful Inside Sales person will have good attention to detail, be a confident, curious, engaging networker, who can hunt, develop and close our clients early project leads into requests for tender, where both the drawings and specification have been shaped by you and the value has been created via the large cost savings that you'd highlight, along with overcoming any technical buildability challenges. 
  • This is a pre sales/technical role, so you'll have strong influencing skills. 
  • This role could suit a candidate that has worked for a structural engineer or architect, perhaps in the estimating department, with a salesy attitude, that wants to grow with a company that has experienced 20% year on year growth for the last 5 years. 
  • Technical solution sales experience with a building envelope product, such as fenestration, glazing, facades, steelwork, windows, doors, balustrades, roofing or anchor systems would be preferred although they'll consider candidates outside the construction industry
  • They offer excellent training so a growth mindset and a good attitude are the most important factors, with previous experience being of less importance. The ability to pick up the phone, ask good questions and listen are key.
  • For the right individual this will lead to a more client facing sales role in time, with at that point genuine 6 figure earning potential. 

-THE COMPANY;

  • Our client is an innovative modern methods of construction company, that work on high rise building project with a minimum of 50 units required. Average order values are circa £1.5million per project. 
  • They offer a cost effective, rapidly installed solution, that is preassembled and factory finished and competes against traditional methods of construction.

-THE REMUNERATION; 

  • £40,000- £50,000 Basic salary, dependent on experience.
  • Quarterly bonus of up to 20% of salary, although this is uncapped.
  • 23 days holiday, plus Bank holidays
  • Private medical cover
  • 8% Pension paid by the employer.
  • 45p per mile for any business mileage undertaken.
