- THE ROLE;
- As Business Development Manager, you'll be selling design led, energy efficient interior & exterior lighting.
- Selling to Architects & Specifiers, lighting designers, M&E consultants & M&E contractors, House Builders, Main contractors & end users with the main emphasis being the M&E Consultant/Specifier.
- You will be covering London postcodes, although projects could be anywhere across the UK and internationally.
- As Business Development Manager, you'll be gaining specifications & tracking it through all stages of the project.
- Projects include commercial offices, education, hospitality, car parks, sports arenas, retail, house building, local authorities, end users such as car showrooms, museums and occasionally hospitals.
- As Business Development Manager, you will on occasion be delivering CPD seminars.
- AOV is £30,000, although they can run into £100's of thousands. You'll have access to a considerable database of contacts.
- THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE;
- The successful Business Development Manager will have lighting sales experience with an engaging personality, looking for a long term career in sales.
- You will have the gravitas and ability to deal at all levels, from a consultant/designer/architect, to going on site with the contractor- a chameleon like personality. A friend maker.
- A great communicator & strong team player, looking to commit to a market leader.
- You will be target driven, with a good sense of humour & strong presentation skills.
- Must have a passion for design & be consultative in nature.
- Must have career stability.
- Strong access to West London.
- THE COMPANY

- THE REMUNERATION;
- Basic salary of up to £50,000 dependent on experience.
- Open ended commission, with an escalator for over-achievement.
- Realistic £6K-£10k commission in Year 1, considerably more in future years.
- Choice of company car, such as BMW 3 series, Audi A4, with fuel card or Car Allowance.
