- Do you have a passion for LED lighting? Do you have a track record of sales success with M&E contractors? Do you want to be part of a hugely ambitious, small and nimble lighting manufacturer, with plans to grow your career? Are you located in London or the South East? If so, we've got the role for you.

- THE ROLE; 

  • Due to growth, our client is looking for a lighting sales professional, to join them on their ambitious journey. 
  • As Business Development Manager, you will be selling a comprehensive range of commercial & residential interior & exterior luminaires, downlights, linear lighting, recessed, sports lighting and emergency lighting.   
  • Working alongside a specification led colleague, you'll be offering their value engineering, by providing the design and supply of your architectural LED lighting solutions. 
  • As Business Development Manager, you'll be selling mainly to M&E contractors, on projects as diverse as commercial offices, student accommodation, shopping centres, hotels, banks, libraries, upmarket retailers. 
  • You'll largely be covering London and the South East, although projects could be nationwide or on occasion international. 
  • Projects will typically range from £10's of thousands, up to a few £million, with many in the £100k-£500k range.
  • Their core business historically has been providing high end commercial fit out and top end residential projects, with interior, exterior and emergency lighting. 

-THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE;

  • The successful Business Development Manager will have a track record of sales success with M&E contractors, ideally from a lighting manufacturer. 
  • My client will also consider an ambitious electrical wholesaler sales professional with strong M&E contractor contacts. 
  • You will be an excellent new business winner and relationship builder. 
  • They will also look at sales professionals from control gears or BMS, as you'll also be selling on the energy saving qualities of their lighting range. 
  • You will be a good team player, articulate, highly professional, with an ambition to grow with the business. 

-THE COMPANY; 

  • A privately owned, well established, highly ambitious LED and architectural lighting manufacturer.
  • They have an excellent portfolio of prestigious projects that they have secured over the years.

-THE REMUNERATION; 

  • Basic salary of £40k-£55k+ dependent on experience.
  • Genuine high five figure/six figure earning potential in time, with commission paid monthly.
  • Choice of Executive car or allowance
  • 28 days holiday
