- THE COMPANY;

- Our client is a leading manufacturer of commercial HVAC products, which include air conditioning & close control units, AHU, MVHR, Fan coils, dehumidifiers, chillers, heat pumps, air diffusion etc. Multi-million pound turnover and exciting growth plans.

- THE ROLE;

- Due to progression, this is a fantastic opportunity for a confident, ambitious Business Development Managers to take over an established sales territory of Kent, SE London and East London postcodes, with lots of room for growth.

- As Business Development Manager, you'll be selling our clients manufactured range of Air Handling units, fans, ventilation, chillers, close control units, dehumidifiers, split systems etc. 

- You will be working in tandem with an M&E consultant led colleague, who will get your product specified and you will then maintain the specification and track it through with the M&E contractor or Air Conditioning Contractor or break a rivals specification. This is all about building strong relationships with your M&E contractor and Air conditioning contractor.

- Projects could range from £2k- £500k+ 

- This is largely account management and development of an excellent ledger of 50+ M&E contractor & Air conditioning contractor accounts although new business/new contacts will also be required. You will be selling to all of the leading names in the M&E contractor world.

-THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE;

- The successful Business Development Manager will have sold a Mechanical product into M&E contractors and/or Air conditioning contractors. 

- HVAC, plumbing & heating, cable management, lighting for example would all be relevant. 

- You will be results driven, able to adapt your style, sociable, a great net-worker, as they'll be a number of key influencers in each of your M&E contractor and Air conditioning contractor accounts that you will need to get to know and support. 

- You'll be able to demonstrate success and progression in your career to date. 

- Technically confident, engaging personality, driven by open ended commission.

- THE REMUNERATION;

- £40,000- £55,000 Basic salary, dependent on experience. 

- Monthly commission giving £15k for achieving target, with an accelerator above target, giving a realistic high 5 figure/£100K annual earning potential

- BMW, Audi or Mercedes type company car, or car allowance, 25 days holiday plus Bank holidays, mobile, laptop, healthcare and pension.
