Do you have experience within the construction industry, either in field sales, or possibly in joinery, estimating or internal sales and have a desire to grow your career with a genuine market leader in fenestration? Our client manufacturers Composite aluminium and Timber windows & doors and you'll be looking after, developing and winning accounts with window and door distributors and outlets, across Southern England, the West Midlands, up to North Wales. The vacancy has come about through growth and internal promotion. Offering £30k-£40k basic salary dependent on experience, plus £10k+ bonus potential and industry leading benefits. 

THE ROLE:

  • Field/Home based covering East and West Sussex, Hampshire, Dorset, Surrey, Berkshire, Wiltshire, Oxfordshire, Worcestershire and up through the West Midlands, Shropshire, into North Wales.
  • Selling the company's manufactured range of high end Composite and Timber windows & doors.
  • A mix of new business, account management, account development and training your customers on a territory worth over £2.5million, with big potential to grow further.
  • This has been a hugely successful area for the business but our client feels there is still room for growth, with the addition of a dedicated sales professional.
  • Selling into distributors, these can be small independent businesses to larger window and door outlets, some site visits but mainly as dual calls with the distributor salesperson.
  • Excellent support and back up with in depth training.
  • A large part of your role is to train and develop the distribution staff, essentially they are an extension of your salesforce and as such your job is to ensure they are confident and happy in their ability to sell your products.
  • Great leads provided, brilliant internal support and CRM system.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE; 

  • Ideally you'll have a proven track record of field sales experience, although someone with a great attitude, good attention to detail and an ability to build relationships and support clients from a technical perspective will be considered. One of their best sales people was formerly a joiner.
  • You will ideally have sold something related to the construction sector, great if windows but if not then possibly kitchens, tiles or joinery related home improvement type products would be great but not essential.
  • You must be living on patch, ideal location would be Berkshire, Surrey, Wiltshire or Oxfordshire.
  • Advantageous if sold via distribution.
  • Strong relationship builder. 
  • Energetic and enthusiastic.

THE REMUNERATION:

  • Salary range is £30k to £40k dependant on experience.
  • Annual bonus of up to circa £10k.
  • Company car allowance of £450 per month plus fuel scheme. 
  • 25 days holiday with the ability to buy or sell up to 5 more days holiday.
